Family Wants Geronimo’s Skull Back

[Feb. 18, 2009] The descendants of the Apache Geronimo, a warrior chieftain whose remains are rumored to be held inside Yale’s oldest secret society, filed a lawsuit Tuesday demanding the return of their ancestor’s skull.

    geronimos body should be returned to his people.no diffrent than when we the u.s. went to vietnam seeking remains of our fallen soldiers to put closure for thier families.
    geronimo was a prisoner of war,the war ended he was no longer a prisoner after he died,when inmates in prison die,are not thier remains given to thier families? are not the descendants requesting the remains,fort sill is using the burial sight as a sourse for revenue for tourists, that place can remain ,we only wish for the mans remains to be given to his family, not the tribe, but the family.
    it was once said no one is above the law,yet this desecration has been allowed for far to long.how much uprising would there be if colonel george armstrong custers remains were at a hidden place in the sioux nation being desecraded?
    whats right is right,whats wrong is wrong, how does our country heal? when we the people truly means ” we the people ” if you believe this petition president obama, if not do nothing an let this thought die of lonliness.
