Looking for the weird, the odd, or the unexplained here in Connecticut? How about haunted places, strange spots, or curious legends? Well, you came to the right place! We love this stuff as much as you do, and we’re going to offer as much of it as we can find, from the extraordinary and the paranormal to the lost and the forgotten. And as much as possible, we’re going to explore these mysteries ourselves, and give you some firsthand knowledge of what is (or isn’t) out there if you want to check it yourself.

As this is a new site, we’re still evolving — the plan is to keep on adding entries about anomalous subjects and unusual events as we go, as well as adding other features such as interviews and book reviews, forums and more, so check back often. And of course, we’re always looking for suggestions and visitor comments — if there’s something odd out there you want us to investigate or tell you more about, or something you want to discuss with us, let us know!

Just to make it clear: We’re not true believers, we’re not skeptics — we are more what you might classify as “fortean.” We are open-minded, curious and objective, and honestly, we don’t take ourselves too seriously — the unexplained should be fun, right?
